The expression “fiery redhead” is more than the perfect adjective to describe Angelica Bridges.
Angelica, who hails from a ranch in a small town in Missouri (POP. 150) is perhaps best known for her strikingly natural red hair, exotic looks and her role as “Taylor Walsh” on the internationally popular television series, “ BAYWATCH”.
Angelica just finished a supporting lead role in the UK psychological thriller “THE PERFECT WOMAN” in the role of “Sammi”. The film was shot on the historical grounds of the Thornburry Castle outside of London, England. Television roles this year include guest appearances on “VERONICA MARS and on FOX’S “KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL” as well as co-hosting the “BREAKTHROUGH OF THE YEAR AWARDS” with comedian Eddie Griffin for “SHOWTIME”. Another exciting role she is adding to her resume is PRODUCER. She has put together an all-girls modern cabaret 1940’s pop style singing and dancing group called “BARLESK”. Angelica is also leading the singing and dancing with the sultry group and they have been busy working with top choreographers such as Cris Judd, Eddie Garcia and Keith Young. The sexy and talented group of sirens have already performed at the grand opening and other events held at the famous “CABANA CLUB” in Hollywood and just made their VEGAS debut performing at in the famous “Treasure Island” hotel and casino! She is also headlining another variety show produced and choreographed by Cris Judd as well titled, “GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS” backed by Vince Neil of Motley Crue. Angelica hosts this half hour glitzy musical that features 10 of the world’s top dancers and performers and also sings in it. This show is slated for a Fall 2006 opening in Las Vegas.
Angelica actually started her career at the age of eighteen singing in a band called the “BROOKE SISTERS”, traveling as far as China, Hong Kong and Japan where she was singing and dancing in venues for 20,000 fans a night. After her tour, she was discovered singing at UNIVERSAL STUDIOS in Orlando by modeling giant John Casablancas. She signed with ELITE and began starring in several highly recognizable commercial and print campaigns in the US, Europe and Japan. She can easily be remembered as Troy Aikman’s girlfriend in the “BRUT COLOGNE” campaign. She can also be seen ballroom dancing in the Emmy nominated spot for “AMERICAN EXPRESS” where she plays a modern day Ginger Rodgers. She also landed a 3 year contract with CLAIROL and co-starred with KEVIN COSTNER in a print and television ad for VALVERDE in Europe. Recent commercials are LEXUS, TAB ENERGY DRINK and Tony Little’s fitness sidekick in a spoof of his famous infomercials for GEICO.
In 1996 Angelica landed the recurring role of “Sharon Taylor” on “THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES.” In 2004 she had a recurring role as “Paige” on “THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL” Besides being internationally known from Baywatch, Angelica has guest-starred on over 20 television series, including “N.Y.P.D Blue,” “That 70’s Show,” “Quintuplets,” “VIP,” “Son of the Beach,” “Suddenly Susan,” “Pacific Blue,” “Cybill”, “Ask Harriett” “Conan the Barbarian” (as Red Sonja) and a reprisal of her character Taylor Walsh in the “Baywatch Reunion Movie”, which aired on Fox in 2003. Her comedic skills helped her land a series regular role in the Ivan Reitman pilot “Metropolitan Hospital and another series regular role in a pilot for “FOX” where she plays “Kimberly Cahill” the hard as nails DA’s assistant in 2005’s “Times Square”. Angelica still continues to grace magazine covers around the world. She has appeared on the cover of British Maxim, Italian Maxim, German Maxim, American FHM, GQ, Esquire, American Health and Fitness, Amica, and a dozen others! It is no wonder that Angelica was chosen as one of Maxim Magazine’s “50 Sexiest Women in the World” and was dubbed a “Superbabe” by Cosmopolitan Magazine!
Her personality, quick wit and intelligence have catapulted her into an array of top notch hosting gigs. She was the regular host of “BIG PLAYSTATION SATURDAY” for TBS and “SPICE”, a weekly series filmed in London for VH-1.
